Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2021 Bonhams in Edinburgh held the auction Scottish Art, which included the work Nude by Robin Philipson. The price achieved of GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,186.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robin Philipson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Zebra, A Triptych in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 192,500.00 (€ 244,868.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2021 führte Bonhams in Edinburgh die Auktion Scottish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nude von Robin Philipson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.186,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robin Philipson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Zebra, A Triptych im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 192.500,00 (€ 244.868,41).
