The work Blue Wings At Sunset by Peter Markham Scott was sold in the Important Canadian Art auction at Sothebys in Toronto in December 2009. The »bidding war« ended at CAD 13,200.00 (€ 8,803.99), 65% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Markham Scott - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mallard and Teal in Flight, which sold at auction in May 2020 for GBP 25,062.00 (€ 27,821.58).

Die Arbeit Blue Wings At Sunset von Peter Markham Scott wurde im Dezember 2009 in der Auktion Important Canadian Art bei Sothebys in Toronto versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von CAD 13.200,00 (€ 8.803,99) und damit 65% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Markham Scott mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mallard and Teal in Flight beobachtet, die im Mai 2020 für GBP 25.062,00 (€ 27.821,58) versteigert wurde.
