Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gallt Y Wenallt And Lliwedd (Snowdon) by Kyffin Williams was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in March this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,191.23) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kyffin Williams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bryn Y'R Hên Bobl in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 57,600.00 (€ 84,621.68).

Die Arbeit Gallt Y Wenallt And Lliwedd (Snowdon) von Kyffin Williams wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.805,00 (€ 3.191,23) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kyffin Williams erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bryn Y'R Hên Bobl im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 57.600,00 (€ 84.621,68).
