Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Above Deiniolen by Kyffin Williams. The price achieved of GBP 2,550.00 (€ 2,993.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kyffin Williams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bryn Y'R Hên Bobl in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 57,600.00 (€ 84,621.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Above Deiniolen von Kyffin Williams zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.550,00 (€ 2.993,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kyffin Williams erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bryn Y'R Hên Bobl im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 57.600,00 (€ 84.621,68).
