Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Madge by James Jebusa Shannon was auctioned at Bonhams in London in March last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 35,250.00 (€ 41,792.84). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Jebusa Shannon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In the Springtime in July last year with an auction result of GBP 529,200.00 (€ 631,958.79).
