Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction British & Irish Art, which included the work Portrait Of Susannah Pearson by Francis Bernard Dicksee. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 32,183.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francis Bernard Dicksee achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work British Yseult in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 1,155,000.00 (€ 1,015,027.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of Susannah Pearson von Francis Bernard Dicksee zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 32.183,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francis Bernard Dicksee erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit British Yseult im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.155.000,00 (€ 1.015.027,68).
