Admittedly, works by Francis Bernard Dicksee have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work British Yseult in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 1,155,000.00 (€ 1,015,027.68).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 97.250,00 (€ 107.589,05) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 22%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francis Bernard Dicksee auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit British Yseult im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.155.000,00 (€ 1.015.027,68).
