Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 149,000.00 (€ 175,805.35) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Other works by Claude Barry have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2015 the work London and Wartime: Nocturne was auctioned for GBP 230,500.00 (€ 325,002.11).
