In September 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Interior in the North of Holland: tea-time by Sipke Kool. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,500.00 25% above the upper estimate. Other works by Sipke Kool have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 2,750.00 in February 2008 for the work Pouring tea.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im September 2007 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Interior in the North of Holland: tea-time von Sipke Kool zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.500,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Sipke Kool haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.750,00 im Februar 2008 für die Arbeit Pouring tea beobachtet.
