It achieved a price of GBP 200,000.00 (€ 223,084.76), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Simone Leigh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stick in May this year with an auction result of USD 2,712,000.00 (€ 2,545,522.81).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 200.000,00 (€ 223.084,76) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Simone Leigh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stick im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.712.000,00 (€ 2.545.522,81).
