Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Simon Mondzain achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in April this year. In the Modern Art auction, the work Portrait de femme au foulard orange sold for EUR 3,149.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Simon Mondzain achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'offrande in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 60,250.00 (€ 70,778.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Simon Mondzain erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Portrait de femme au foulard orange für EUR 3.149,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Simon Mondzain erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'offrande im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.250,00 (€ 70.778,23).
