Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Tabula by Simon Hantaï was sold in the Collection Gerard Valkier : A lifetime journey with Art. auction at Christies in October 2021. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 250,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 275,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Simon Hantaï achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work M.A.4 (Mariale) in December 2016 with an auction result of EUR 4,432,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Tabula von Simon Hantaï wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Collection Gerard Valkier : A lifetime journey with Art. bei Christies versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 250.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 275.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Simon Hantaï erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit M.A.4 (Mariale) im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.432.500,00.
