Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A bacchanal in a grotto by Simon de Vos was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2012. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 37,000.00. Admittedly, works by Simon de Vos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Convival Card Game in January 2007 with an auction result of USD 288,000.00 (€ 221,572.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A bacchanal in a grotto von Simon de Vos kam im Mai 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 37.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Simon de Vos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Convival Card Game im Januar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 288.000,00 (€ 221.572,55).
