Despite a disappointment, a good price for Simon Bill
In September 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Greenhouse by Simon Bill for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,418.14). This price was achieved in the auction Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Greenhouse is the most expensive artwork by Simon Bill that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Simon Bill
Im September 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Greenhouse von Simon Bill für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.418,14) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Day Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Greenhouse das teuerste Kunstwerk von Simon Bill, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
