The work Cattle watering by a loch; and Loch Katrine by Sidney Richard Percy was sold in the British and European Art auction at Christies in London in July last year. It achieved a price of GBP 10,080.00 (€ 12,037.31), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Admittedly, works by Sidney Richard Percy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cader Idris, North Wales in July 2013 with an auction result of GBP 73,875.00 (€ 84,415.06).

Die Arbeit Cattle watering by a loch; and Loch Katrine von Sidney Richard Percy wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion British and European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 10.080,00 (€ 12.037,31) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sidney Richard Percy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cader Idris, North Wales im Juli 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 73.875,00 (€ 84.415,06).
