In November this year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Home & Interiors Collections, which included the work Lake scene, Borrowdale; Lake scene, Westmoreland (two works) each 7 1/8 x 13in (18.1 x 33cm) by Sidney Richard Percy. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,880.00 (€ 9,974.33), 55% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Sidney Richard Percy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cader Idris, North Wales in July 2013 with an auction result of GBP 73,875.00 (€ 84,415.06).

Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Home & Interiors Collections durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lake scene, Borrowdale; Lake scene, Westmoreland (two works) each 7 1/8 x 13in (18.1 x 33cm) von Sidney Richard Percy zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.880,00 (€ 9.974,33) und damit 55% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sidney Richard Percy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cader Idris, North Wales im Juli 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 73.875,00 (€ 84.415,06).
