Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Toto Tsukudajima No Kei (View of Tsukudajima In The Eastern Capital) by Shôtei Hokuju was sold in the Japanese and Korean Works of Art auction at Christies in New York in September 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,151.00 (€ 1,732.30) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shôtei Hokuju achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ôban, yoko-e in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 18,600.00.

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit Toto Tsukudajima No Kei (View of Tsukudajima In The Eastern Capital) von Shôtei Hokuju wurde im September 2004 in der Auktion Japanese and Korean Works of Art bei Christies in New York versteigert.
