Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 VAN HAM in Cologne held the auction From a Universal Collector - The Olbricht Collection, which included the work "Turmoil II". by Shonah Trescott. The price achieved of EUR 516.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Shonah Trescott have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "The Search" 4 in October 2020 with an auction result of EUR 4,909.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte VAN HAM in Köln die Auktion From a Universal Collector - The Olbricht Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Turmoil II". von Shonah Trescott zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 516,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shonah Trescott auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "The Search" 4 im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.909,00.
