This work of art by Shonah Trescott could be acquired at VAN HAM in Cologne in June 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the From a Universal Collector - The Olbricht Collection auction, the work "Turmoil I". changed hands for EUR 387.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shonah Trescott achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "The Search" 4 in October 2020 with an auction result of EUR 4,909.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Shonah Trescott konnte im Juni 2021 bei VAN HAM in Köln für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion From a Universal Collector - The Olbricht Collection wechselte die Arbeit "Turmoil I". für EUR 387,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shonah Trescott erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "The Search" 4 im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.909,00.
