Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Shirley Jaffe achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in September 2010. In the Intérieurs auction, the work Sans titre sold for EUR 5,750.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shirley Jaffe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Whirling Dervish Ou Indian Flight - 1986 in December 2014 with an auction result of EUR 58,840.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Shirley Jaffe erzielte im September 2010 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Intérieurs wurde die Arbeit Sans titre für EUR 5.750,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shirley Jaffe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Whirling Dervish Ou Indian Flight - 1986 im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 58.840,00.
