Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Double Annotation for Impossibility by Shi Xinning was auctioned at Phillips in London in April 2010. The price achieved of GBP 58,850.00 (€ 67,724.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shi Xinning have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mao And Mccarthy in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 372,000.00 (€ 278,151.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Double Annotation for Impossibility von Shi Xinning kam im April 2010 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 58.850,00 (€ 67.724,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shi Xinning auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mao And Mccarthy im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 372.000,00 (€ 278.151,64).
