A top price for Shi Jin-Hua - as previously expected
In April this year China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Pen Walking No.120 (Painted In 2012) by Shi Jin-Hua. The price achieved of HKD 192,000.00 (€ 196,069.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 160,000.00 – 250,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Pen Walking No.120 (Painted In 2012) is the most expensive artwork by Shi Jin-Hua that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April diesen Jahres führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pen Walking No.120 (Painted In 2012) von Shi Jin-Hua zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 192.000,00 (€ 196.069,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 160.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Pen Walking No.120 (Painted In 2012) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Shi Jin-Hua, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
