Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pen Walking #169: Snow Peak Under Moonlight(Executed In 2019) by Shi Jin-Hua was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2019. The price achieved of HKD 129,800.00 (€ 14,835.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shi Jin-Hua achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pen Walking No.120 (Painted In 2012) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 192,000.00 (€ 196,069.57).

Die Arbeit Pen Walking #169: Snow Peak Under Moonlight(Executed In 2019) von Shi Jin-Hua wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 129.800,00 (€ 14.835,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shi Jin-Hua erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pen Walking No.120 (Painted In 2012) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 192.000,00 (€ 196.069,57).
