The work Glass Nude; Pantyhose Nude & Untitled Nude by Shi Chong was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2007. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 787,500.00 (€ 68,841.91), 58% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shi Chong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Walking Man II in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 8,850,000.00 (€ 933,483.24).

Die Arbeit Glass Nude; Pantyhose Nude & Untitled Nude von Shi Chong wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 787.500,00 (€ 68.841,91) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shi Chong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Walking Man II im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 8.850.000,00 (€ 933.483,24).
