Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July last year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Your Days, My Days by Sherree Valentine Daines. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 4,080.00 (€ 4,872.24), 17% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sherree Valentine Daines - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Forever Cherished, which sold at auction in December 2018 for GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,533.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Your Days, My Days von Sherree Valentine Daines zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 4.080,00 (€ 4.872,24) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Sherree Valentine Daines mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Forever Cherished beobachtet, die im Dezember 2018 für GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.533,50) versteigert wurde.
