This artwork by Sherree Valentine Daines achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in April last year. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Ice Cream at the Shore sold for GBP 6,375.00 (€ 7,601.96) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sherree Valentine Daines; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Forever Cherished sold at auction in December 2018 with the realized price of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,533.50).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Sherree Valentine Daines erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Ice Cream at the Shore für GBP 6.375,00 (€ 7.601,96) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Sherree Valentine Daines; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Forever Cherished im Dezember 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.533,50).
