Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Regatta by Sherree Valentine Daines was sold in the Eclectic auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2021. The price achieved of HKD 25,200.00 (€ 2,731.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sherree Valentine Daines have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Forever Cherished in December 2018 with an auction result of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,533.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Regatta von Sherree Valentine Daines wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion Eclectic bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.200,00 (€ 2.731,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sherree Valentine Daines auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Forever Cherished im Dezember 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.533,50).
