Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Temptation No.33 by Shen Xiaotong was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 3,860.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shen Xiaotong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work No. 18 in May 2007 with an auction result of HKD 480,000.00 (€ 45,705.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Temptation No.33 von Shen Xiaotong kam im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 3.860,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shen Xiaotong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit No. 18 im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 480.000,00 (€ 45.705,79).
