A top price for Shen Xiaotong - as previously expected
The work No. 18 by Shen Xiaotong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. The price achieved of HKD 480,000.00 (€ 45,705.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, No. 18 is the most expensive artwork by Shen Xiaotong that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit No. 18 von Shen Xiaotong kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 480.000,00 (€ 45.705,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist No. 18 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Shen Xiaotong, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
