Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Sheng Maoye was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2006. The price achieved of HKD 33,600.00 (€ 3,374.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Sheng Maoye achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Saying Farewell In The Moonlight in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 66,737.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Sheng Maoye kam im Mai 2006 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 33.600,00 (€ 3.374,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Sheng Maoye erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Saying Farewell In The Moonlight im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 66.737,85).
