Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Shen Zhuo could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in March last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Part V The Online Sale auction, the work Orchids changed hands for USD 1,530.00 (€ 1,379.25) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shen Zhuo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes After Ancient Artists in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 29,508.95).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Shen Zhuo konnte im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Reverend Richard Fabian Collection of Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, Part V The Online Sale wechselte die Arbeit Orchids für USD 1.530,00 (€ 1.379,25) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shen Zhuo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes After Ancient Artists im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 29.508,95).
