A top price for Shen Zhuo
This artwork by Shen Zhuo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Landscapes After Ancient Artists sold for HKD 250,000.00 (€ 29,508.95) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 90,000.00. This high result makes Landscapes After Ancient Artists the most expensive artwork by Shen Zhuo that we have observed at auctions so far.
