Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Beauty by Shen Zhuo was sold in the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2017. The price achieved of HKD 25,960.00 (€ 2,857.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 15,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Shen Zhuo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscapes After Ancient Artists in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 29,508.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Beauty von Shen Zhuo wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 25.960,00 (€ 2.857,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 15.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Shen Zhuo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscapes After Ancient Artists im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 29.508,95).
