Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Shen Zhuo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2012. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Album of Flowers, Birds and Insects sold for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 14,873.17) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Shen Zhuo; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Landscapes After Ancient Artists sold at auction in April 2017 with the realized price of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 29,508.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Shen Zhuo erzielte im November 2012 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Album of Flowers, Birds and Insects für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 14.873,17) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Shen Zhuo; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Landscapes After Ancient Artists im April 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 29.508,95).
