Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work Poem In Scurive Script by Shen Zengzhi was worth HKD 259,600.00 (€ 31,634.00) to a buyer in November 2016. This price was achieved in the auction Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas at China Guardian in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Shen Zengzhi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poem In Xingshu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 173,356.03).
Kunstwerk zum Vierfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Poem In Scurive Script von Shen Zengzhi war einem Käufer im November 2016 HKD 259.600,00 (€ 31.634,00) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shen Zengzhi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poem In Xingshu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 173.356,03).
