Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flying Geese by Shen Yaochu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. The price achieved of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 10,952.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shen Yaochu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Auspicious Chickens, which sold at auction in October 2013 for HKD 375,000.00 (€ 35,585.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flying Geese von Shen Yaochu kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 10.952,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Shen Yaochu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Auspicious Chickens beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für HKD 375.000,00 (€ 35.585,55) versteigert wurde.
