A top price for Shen Shaomin - as previously expected
The work Mona Lisa by Shen Shaomin was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2011. It changed hands for a price of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 26,071.12) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 240,000.00 – 320,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Mona Lisa is the most expensive artwork by Shen Shaomin that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Mona Lisa von Shen Shaomin wurde im April 2011 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 26.071,12) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 240.000,00 – 320.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Mona Lisa das teuerste Kunstwerk von Shen Shaomin, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
