The work Landscape by Shen Qin was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Chinese Ink and Works on Paper auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2015. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 118,000.00 (€ 13,785.55), 18% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shen Qin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape in Song Style, which sold at auction in November 2016 for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 48,742.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Shen Qin wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Ink and Works on Paper bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 118.000,00 (€ 13.785,55) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Shen Qin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape in Song Style beobachtet, die im November 2016 für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 48.742,67) versteigert wurde.
