Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Shen Qin was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Beijing in December 2015. The price achieved of CNY 106,200.00 (€ 15,100.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 90,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shen Qin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape in Song Style, which sold at auction in November 2016 for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 48,742.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Shen Qin wurde im Dezember 2015 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Beijing versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 106.200,00 (€ 15.100,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 90.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Shen Qin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape in Song Style beobachtet, die im November 2016 für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 48.742,67) versteigert wurde.
