The work Ink Landscape by Shen Qin was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. It changed hands for a price of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 27,480.59) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 180,000.00 – 240,000.00. Other works by Shen Qin have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2016 the work Landscape in Song Style was auctioned for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 48,742.67).
