Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink, which included the work Cats by Shen Ning. The price achieved of HKD 112,500.00 (€ 12,112.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 90,000.00 – 140,000.00. Other works by Shen Ning have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2017 the work Dreaming of Butterfly was auctioned for HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,127.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2017 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cats von Shen Ning zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 112.500,00 (€ 12.112,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 90.000,00 – 140.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Shen Ning konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2017 die Arbeit Dreaming of Butterfly für HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.127,98) versteigert.
