Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Three Girls by Shen Hanwu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. The price achieved of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 64,345.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 550,000.00 – 800,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shen Hanwu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Descendants Of The Dragon, which sold at auction in April 2014 for HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 137,649.60).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit Three Girls von Shen Hanwu kam im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 64.345,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 550.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Shen Hanwu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Descendants Of The Dragon beobachtet, die im April 2014 für HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 137.649,60) versteigert wurde.
