Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers by Shen Hanwu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. The price achieved of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 34,671.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shen Hanwu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Descendants Of The Dragon, which sold at auction in April 2014 for HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 137,649.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers von Shen Hanwu kam im April 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 34.671,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Shen Hanwu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Descendants Of The Dragon beobachtet, die im April 2014 für HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 137.649,60) versteigert wurde.
