The work Deputy Commander by Shen Hanwu was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 54,050.28), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shen Hanwu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Descendants Of The Dragon, which sold at auction in April 2014 for HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 137,649.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Deputy Commander von Shen Hanwu kam im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 54.050,28) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Für andere Arbeiten von Shen Hanwu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Descendants Of The Dragon beobachtet, die im April 2014 für HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 137.649,60) versteigert wurde.
