Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2015 Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs Evening Sale, which included the work Candy Counter 1969 by Sharon Core. Here, the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 52,500.00 (€ 47,034.58). Other works by Sharon Core have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 87,500.00 (€ 76,479.33) in April 2016 for the work Bakery Counter, 1962.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2015 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Candy Counter 1969 von Sharon Core zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 52.500,00 (€ 47.034,58) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Sharon Core haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 76.479,33) im April 2016 für die Arbeit Bakery Counter, 1962 beobachtet.
