Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Shao Yixuan could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Strolling In Autumn Grove changed hands for HKD 35,000.00 (€ 3,603.35) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Shao Yixuan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape in October this year with an auction result of HKD 216,000.00 (€ 26,121.12).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Shao Yixuan konnte im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Strolling In Autumn Grove für HKD 35.000,00 (€ 3.603,35) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shao Yixuan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 216.000,00 (€ 26.121,12).
