The work Gourds by Shao Yixuan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 81,900.00 (€ 8,768.68), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 37%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shao Yixuan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in October this year for HKD 216,000.00 (€ 26,121.12).

Die Arbeit Gourds von Shao Yixuan kam im April 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 81.900,00 (€ 8.768,68) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 37%. Für andere Arbeiten von Shao Yixuan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für HKD 216.000,00 (€ 26.121,12) versteigert wurde.
