In April 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Pavilion In The Mountains by Shao Yixuan. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 75,000.00 (€ 6,975.49), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shao Yixuan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in October this year for HKD 216,000.00 (€ 26,121.12).

Im April 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pavilion In The Mountains von Shao Yixuan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 6.975,49) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Shao Yixuan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für HKD 216.000,00 (€ 26.121,12) versteigert wurde.
