Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rabbits By The Osmanthus by Shao Yixuan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,041.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Shao Yixuan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in October this year for HKD 216,000.00 (€ 26,121.12).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rabbits By The Osmanthus von Shao Yixuan kam im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.041,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Shao Yixuan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im Oktober diesen Jahres für HKD 216.000,00 (€ 26.121,12) versteigert wurde.
