Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Children with Puppet) by Shanti Panchal was auctioned at Bonhams in March this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,211.25 (€ 1,378.03). Admittedly, works by Shanti Panchal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Setting Sun in October 2004 with an auction result of GBP 5,975.00 (€ 8,599.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Children with Puppet) von Shanti Panchal kam im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.211,25 (€ 1.378,03) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Shanti Panchal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Setting Sun im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.975,00 (€ 8.599,67).
